A Place to Learn and Grow Together
According to a recent study in the U.S., only 5% of Muslim students and youth attend full-time Islamic School. What happens to the rest of the 95% of Muslim students who are unable to attend full-time Islamic Schools? How do you they learn their religion? Some Muslim children and youth attend weekend schools for only a few hours a week. Other Muslim children and youth may attend after school programs and summer camps. The few hours they spend at these programs need to be effective, efficient, and exciting.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Academic education is only one part of a Muslim’s education. We have to prepare our children and youth for this world and the hereafter. For some children and youth, weekend schools are the only opportunity to learn about their faith. In these programs, how do we ensure quality education in an Islamic environment? WISER was born to answer these questions and respond to the needs of communities.
“High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, O my Lord! advance me in knowledge.”
